Not a surgical quote
The cost estimator and per-state cost ranges are 2026 regional medians from ASPS aggregate data. They cannot produce a binding quote for your specific case. A binding surgical quote requires an in-person consult, evaluation of your specific anatomy, surgical-complexity assessment, and a written estimate from the practice you select.
Not a candidacy determination
The candidacy checker tool gives a general framework derived from ASPS clinical guidance and peer-reviewed surgical literature. It is not a determination that you are or are not a candidate for any procedure. Final candidacy is determined by an in-person evaluation by an ABPS-board-certified plastic surgeon, considering your skin elasticity, muscle wall integrity, comorbidities, and surgical history.

Imagery
AfterLoss Atlas does not use AI-generated patient images, and does not use stock or scraped imagery presented as patient outcomes. The site does not publish patient before-and-after photos it cannot tie to a documented, consenting source — any image presented as a real patient outcome carries an attributable source and model release.
